SnapshotsSpeaking OpportunitiesThanksSpeaking at James Smith School

I had the privilege and honour of speaking to the amazing children, youth and teachers at the James Smith Cree Nation 🙂 school this past Monday. Thank you Mr. Greyeyes for the invitation as it was an amazing day! -Rick Langlais

A lot of patience exhibited by the students in this hour long lineup. What a privilege to sign a book for each one!

Always a privilege to hear their stories and sign a copy of Dysfunctional: The Rick Langlais Story after speaking. Thank you to the Reach 2 Read program for helping get a book into the hands of everyone there!

Even the staff and teachers waited patiently for their signed copy of Dysfunctional: The Rick Langlais Story.

A little princess asking Rick a question about her Kookum & Kids colouring book.

One of the grade one students showing Rick just how good he can colour.

When you ask for questions the children often have a lot of enthusiasm when putting up their hands.

A young lady looking into the Miracle Box and seeing that she is the miracle! (inside the box is a lighted mirror)

Rick shared with the grade 5-8 kids in the schools beautiful library before lunch, and got to leave books to be added to the shelves.

Some deep questions and heartfelt stories from this little princess.

A great introduction from school principal Mr. Greyeyes before Rick got up to speak to the high school students in the gym.

You couldn’t ask for a more respectful and attentive audience of high school students.
